Fatboy SSE x Open Space: Talks Getting Recognition From 50 Cent, How His Career Started, The “Drake” Song, Being Financially Stable

“Jersey, it’s a lot of hate, you know? It ain’t a lot of love. In Atlanta, you see everybody getting money,” says Fatboy SSE on the latest episode of MASS APPEAL’s “OPEN SPACE.” The product of Irvington, New Jersey has racked up more than 3 million Instagram followers over the years by making hilarious comedy and music videos, apparently a possible natural response to his upbringing. “There’s a lot of hate where I’m from, it ain’t a lot of love.”

Chances are, Fatboy loves his new life. He’s garnered co-signs from Brother Love Diddy and 50 Cent, and was invited to the Breakfast Club to reflect on his success. Except, it wasn’t the “breakfast club” he was looking for, and he let them know about it.

“Yeah, they ain’t have no idea what was going on. I was gonna slap Charlamagne bald head. Sike, nah, Charlamagne my dog,” says SSE when he’s asked about the incident. “I just needed to know where the breakfast at?”

Throughout his interview, SSE recalls making his “Drake” song with his buddy Lar$$en—which has racked up more than 800,000 streams on Spotify (according to SSE) and has a music video that’s been viewed nearly a half-million times on YouTube—his celebrity co-signs, and his favorite hobby.

“You want to know? I like to have s*x,” says SSE, seconds into the episode. “I said I will f**k a b***h in ongoing traffic, a*s naked, hitting it from the back.”

“Yeah, I’ll do that s**t right in front of the traffic, everybody. I’m a porn star.”
